A staple of everyday life, taho is part of the morning ritual of many Filipino families. The gentle call of our local taho vendor echoing through the streets of Pacita, where I grew up, is a sound deeply woven into my memory.

This piece is a quiet tribute to those moments of childhood. To me, it is a symbol of warmth, comfort, and home, a simple act of love from my late mother.

This work continues my exploration of Filipino identity through food, honouring the humble, the familiar, and the deeply personal.
