Born in 1990 in the Philippines. Resides and works in Adelaide, South Australia.

Brief Bio

Peter Francisco is a Filipino-born artist based in Adelaide, South Australia. Raised in the Philippines, he was immersed in art from a  young age, developing his painting skills throughout childhood. Beginning with acrylics, he expanded into watercolours in 2017 and oils  in 2023. After setting aside his artistic ambitions to pursue a career in cybersecurity, Peter returned to painting at 30 with a renewed  passion. His practice explores textures, colours, and quiet moments of Filipino life, often drawing on themes of memory, identity, and  cultural heritage.

His work has been exhibited widely across Australia, including a Philippine Arts exhibition at the Migration Museum (2022) and The  Other Art Fair in Sydney (2023, 2024) and Melbourne (2025). Peter’s paintings have received recognition with several awards, including  First Prize in Watercolour at the Royal Adelaide Art Show in 2022, and Second Prize in Portraiture in 2024.

His artworks are held in private collections in the Philippines, Australia, the United States, Germany, and the Netherlands.
